NRHA Board of Director Meeting Change
NRHA President Mike Boyle has changed the dates for the August Board of Directors Meeting. The Board of Directors meeting, where the final read-through of proposed rule changes and voting takes place, will take place August 25-26, 2007. The Executive Board will meet August 23-24. If you haven’t already done so, don’t forget to take an opportunity to re-read the proposed changes and the author’s intent. Then you can make your opinion known by making a comment about the proposed rule change(s).
NRHA Ballot and Candidate Bios
Wednesday, August 1st, the official NRHA Ballot and bios of the candidates running for the office of Vice President or Board of Directors will be posted on the NRHA website. Be sure and vote for or against every Bylaw change, for one Vice Presidential candidate and three Board of Director candidates. For those of you that will not be voting at the General Membership Meeting, Oct. 11, 2007, 10:00 am EST, Transportation Building (Corral), Columbus, OH, your NRHA Absentee Ballot must be received by September 26. Check the NRHA Ballot for further directions.
NRHA Australian Affiliate Championship
Gatton, Queensland, Australia, is gearing up for the first NRHA Australian Affiliate Championship set to run August 1-4. In addition, there is a Judges Applicant Seminar slated for August 5-6.
