International Mail Service Disruptions Forecast
ITALY -- Mail delivery within the country will be suspended from August 8, 2007 to August 20, 2007 during Italy's annual Siesta Holiday.

Italian citizens average 42 days of vacation per year. Most are on vacation for the entire month August. Local businesses shut their doors for all or part of this popular vacation period. The productivity of the entire country is greatly reduced during this time.

Mail delivery will resume following the Siesta Holiday, however delays in service are common in the weeks following the suspended period.

UNITED KINGDOM -- Please be advised that the Communications Workers Union (CWU) in the United Kingdom has announced its intention to extend its official 24-hour strikes until Friday, August 17, 2007. This is not a nationwide strike, but will affect different Royal Mail facilities and areas on various dates.

Services may also be affected by incidences of unofficial strike action. Royal Mail is doing everything it can to minimize disruption to customers, but some disruption is inevitable when unofficial action is being taken.

Staff Change
Lacy Boyer has joined the NRHA Membership Service Group as membership service representative.
