NRHA Announces Results of Election and By-Law Vote

Oklahoma City, OK – October 11, 2007 - Before a standing room only crowd, members of the National Reining Horse Association held their General Membership Meeting, October 11, 2007, at 10 am – 12 noon EDT, in Columbus, Ohio, during the All American Quarter Horse Congress.

More than one hundred members who attended the meeting cast their ballots for Vice President, elected board members and several By-law changes. After memberships were verified, an independent auditor counted the ballots. At the conclusion of the meeting, the election results were announced as follows: Vice President - Allen Mitchels, Elected Board of Directors - Kit Cosper, Wilmington, NC; Greg Hill, Huron, OH; Dale Lopp, Lanesville, IN. All will take office beginning January 1, 2008. In addition, all By-law changes passed.
