New for the 2007 NRHA Non Pro Derby

Oklahoma City, OK – April 3, 2007 – Non Pro riders at the National Reining Horse Association’s (NRHA) 2007 NRHA Derby will find more added money than ever before in each division!

The NRHA Derby is a high profile event for four, five and six year old horses. The Derby is packed with six days of exciting competition from May 14-19 at the Oklahoma State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, OK.

In 2006, The NRHA Board of Directors voted to increase the added money in three Non Pro divisions. The Non Pro and Intermediate Non Pro divisions doubled increasing to $30,000 added in the Non Pro Derby and $15,000 added in the Intermediate Non Pro division. In addition, the Limited Non Pro division added money increased by 50% to $7,500.

Entry into the Non Pro Derby will now automatically enter exhibitors in all divisions they are eligible for. In prior years, Non Pro exhibitors were required to pay division fees to enter the Intermediate or Limited Non Pro divisions.
