Correction to Just the Facts
In Just the Facts, NRHA Protest Procedures, which appeared in the July NRHA Reiner, page 113, and on www.nrha.com, there was an omission under Question 2. Is there a time limit in which I must file the protest? The answer should have read: Yes. The protest must be filed within ten (10) days of the actual incident or within ten (10) days of having gained knowledge of the incident, except for protests involving Non Pro rule violations (See B. Non Pro Conditions (6) in the 2006 NRHA Handbook). If you have questions regarding filing a protests, contact Susie Trimmer – strimmer@nrha.com.

2007 Proposed Rule Changes Available
It's that time of year again. It’s time to review proposed changes to the NRHA Handbook. The final date for rule change submissions for the Handbook was June 2. According to the 2006 NRHA Handbook, "A rule change proposals must be reviewed at a minimum of two NRHA Board of Directors meetings and published and presented to the general membership in the Reiner magazine and on the NRHA website." The proposed changes are currently on the website. Just log on to the Members Logon section of the website and click on Member Feedback...Rule/By-Law Changes. Here you can view, comment, and indicate whether you are for or against the proposed rule and By-Law changes. The proposed changes are also published in the July issue of the NRHA Reiner. All feedback from NRHA members will be submitted to and reviewed by the Board of Directors at the August Board meeting before being voted upon. The ballot for proposed By-Law changes, as well as Vice President and three elected Board members, will be published in the August and September issues of the NRHA Reiner and posted on the website. The deadline for absentee ballots to be received in the NRHA office is September 20, 2006. Please send your ballot to the attention of John Foy.
