A New Kind of Reining Event Featured on the Next
Wide World of Horses presents NRHA Inside Reining August 6

Be sure to watch the next episode of Wide World of Horses presents NRHA Inside Reining sponsored by Adequan®. This Monday, August 6 on RFD-TV, NRHA Inside Reining host Sam Houston shows us a new kind of Reining event featured at the Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, August 31-September 2. NRHA Non Professional Tami Wagman, director of the event, explains how this special show is designed for people who know little or nothing about the sport.

Also on Monday, David Solum of Mid America Equine Sales gives us some great tips on shopping for horses at auction. And, we take a look back at Joe Cody – an American Quarter Horse considered by many to be one of the foundation sires of the sport of Reining.

And, you’ll want to watch “Your Horse’s Health Inside and Out sponsored by Adequan®” because Dr. Joe Carter shows how to keep your horse’s joints healthy.

Be sure to tune in for this new episode of NRHA Inside Reining. It airs Monday, August 6 at 4:30 pm EDT, 10:30 pm EDT and then on Tuesday, August 7 at 8:30 am EDT. For more information, go to www.insidereining.com.

NRHA Australian Affiliate Championship Begins

The first-ever NRHA Australian Affiliate Championship is now underway in Gatton, Queensland, Australia. The event is being held August 1-4 at the Gatton Indoor Arena. All of the riders competing for the continental championship title have qualified at their local affiliate reining events.

Along with exciting reining from the talented riders down under, judges with Reining Australia can now apply to become official NRHA approved judges at an NRHA Judges School on August 5-6.

New from the NRHA – Online Show Approvals
The NRHA is breaking new ground by offering NRHA show secretaries the ability to submit Show Approval forms online! The NRHA is one of the few equine associations in the world to make this convenient new service available to its members.

There are many benefits to offering show approval forms online. It makes the transfer of information faster, more accurate and easily accessible. The new move is expected to tremendously improve communications between the NRHA and its members around the world. For more information, contact Melanie Rinehart at mrinehart@nrha.com or call 405-946-7400 ext. 115.

Dates of August NRHA Board of Directors Meeting Have Been Changed
