In 2006, 4, 5, and 6-year-old horses competed for more than $500,000 in purse money. Held in May in Oklahoma City, OK, this show hosts the Derby Spotlight Sale, Collegiate Reining National Championships, and so much more.



NRHA’s Two Million Dollar Rider Shawn Flarida won the 2007 NRHA Open Derby Championship on Walla Walla Whiz. Following his spectacular win at the NRHA Derby, Flarida is now the NRHA’s all-time leading money earner. Including Flarida’s winnings from the Derby, he has won $2,268,825 in NRHA lifetime earnings. NRHA Million Dollar Rider Andrea Fappani was awarded the Open Derby Reserve Championship on Big Chex To Cash. Mandy McCutcheon won the 2007 NRHA Non Pro Derby Championship on I Spin For Chics. 2006 NRHA Non Pro Futurity Champion Kelle Smith was awarded the Reserve Champion title on JD Conquista Anna, the mare that carried her to the 2006 NRHA Non Pro Futurity championship.
